Our Kennel & Cattery

Our kennels and cattery have been designed to comply with EU standards.

The construction is of insulated sandwich board maintaining an ambient temperature throughout the seasons.

Individual kennels have a sleeping area of 2.5 square meters with an open area of 4 square meters. They have been placed at an angle which maximises airflow whilst preventing direct ingress of sun and rain enabling the dogs to enjoy the open elements comfortably.  We have an isolation unit in the event a dog becomes agitated with its neighbours or develops symptoms of illness and a unit which incorporates a doorway between sleeping areas thus creating a double unit for a family.   To the front of the kennel blocks is a large secure paddock for free play and activity incorporating a pond which we refer to as the K9 spa or doggy dip.

The cat rooms open into a completely secure area where they can have activity, climbing poles, scratching surfaces and a sand pit in which to dig and roll.  The best natural playground we can provide within a totally secure area.

The buildings have been designed and constructed on a consultative basis and our thanks go to Hugh Jackson for the original concept drawings, Graham Butters and Andy Cooper for their superb craftsmanship, commitment and ability to adapt design ideas and create feasible solutions.
